Although many people come to our store to pawn their mobile phones, there are even more people who want to buy second-hand ones. Therefore, I often go to our partners in Huaqiangbei to buy second-hand mobile phones. The building in the picture is full of merchants selling second-hand mobile phones. This is the largest second-hand mobile phone trading market in China, with very transparent prices and they are cheaper than anywhere else.

I have some friends who do business in Nigeria. When they came back to China this year, they talked about the huge price difference between electronic products in Nigeria and China. The average price of second-hand mobile phones in Nigeria is 80% higher. After learning about it, I found out that it's due to the scarcity of communication and electronic products in Nigeria, as well as various factors like tariffs, which cause the phones to be resold multiple times, resulting in much higher prices. However, in China, the speed of mobile phone updates is very fast, and many people have surplus phones. This leads to very cheap electronic products. A flagship series mobile phone that was sold for 4,000 RMB five or six years ago, equivalent to 870,000 Nigerian Naira, has now depreciated to only 10% of its original price or even less. But the system is still very smooth, it's just that it can't keep up with the update speed of mobile phone manufacturers in the market. In addition, we have a dedicated logistics channel for bulk transportation of mobile phones. Through these channels, customers can buy more affordable mobile phones, and rationally allocate resources to reduce the price difference in the middle.
